Controller

We are looking for a highly skilled Controller to oversee the financial operations of our organization in Vaughan. This role requires expertise in accounting functions, financial reporting, and budget management to ensure the company's financial health. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight and technical proficiency to manage day-to-day financial processes effectively.Responsibilities:- Manage the financial reporting process.- Manage all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.- Prepare and oversee the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.- Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks and Sage for efficient financial management and reporting.- Generate timely financial statements and reports for management review.- Collaborate with external auditors during audits to ensure accurate financial reporting.- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- CPA designation is preferred.- Proven experience as a Controller.- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including budgeting and account reconciliation.- Experience in Manufacturing and Construction preferred- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
