Communication Assistant

We are looking for four success driven and creative Communications Assistants to join the media team for a week-long event in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for content creation, storytelling, and social media to contribute to the event's online presence and overall communications efforts. Responsibilities:Working alongside a dedicated media and communications team, Communications Assistants will help capture and share the energy and insight from this high-profile event by: Attending a variety of on-site activities and presentations.Creating engaging and respectful content for social media, including live posts, event highlights, and speaker quotes.Capturing and sharing photo and video content in real-time with communications staff. Writing short, compelling blog posts about specific sessions or events, including key takeaways and speaker insights.Conducting short interviews with attendees, speakers, and researchers, with guidance from the communications team.Submitting content in a timely manner during and after the event for review and publication on digital channels.Requirements:Demonstrated experience writing for social media and blogs in a detail oriented or academic setting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong communication skills in French (written and spoken) are a strong asset.Ability to work quickly, independently, and with creativity and good judgment in a fast-paced environment.Experience writing about research or academic topics is considered an asset.Experience conducting interviews is a plus.A portfolio of past content creation (social media, blogs, interviews) is an asset.Bilingual applicants (English/French) are strongly encouraged to apply.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
