Responsibilities Provide specialist payments legal advice and resources to support the business. Advise on compliance with Singapore, Hong Kong, and international payments laws and regulations, including license requirements. Manage outside counsel for payments projects. Handle regulatory requests and maintain relationships with financial regulators. Draft, review, negotiate, and administer legal and commercial documents. Keep internal stakeholders informed about relevant laws and regulations impacting the company. Requirements Common law qualified lawyer with at least 3 years PQE. Experience with FinTech and payment matters, including licensing in Singapore, Hong Kong, or elsewhere. Experience dealing with MAS, HKMA, or other regulators. Interest in FinTech and the Internet industry. Team player capable of handling projects independently. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Proactive, with sound interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English and proficient in Chinese for stakeholder communication.
