As a Senior Data Scientist, you will: Solve complex business problems globally while leading R&D in state-of-the-art ML and statistical methods. Lead efforts to apply deep learning innovations to improve business performance, collaborating with industry leaders and QuantumBlack experts. Identify promising ML R&D initiatives for industry application. Partner with leadership and clients to understand business challenges and develop analytics and AI solutions. Utilize advances in deep learning, reinforcement learning, and AI to derive insights across industries. Mentor fellow data scientists, fostering their growth. Work with data engineers, ML engineers, and designers to build impactful end-to-end analytics solutions. Help shape QuantumBlack’s R&D roadmap, especially in deep learning. Be part of a talented, diverse data science team. Your Qualifications and Skills Degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or AI (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD). 5 years of deep technical experience in distributed computing, ML, and statistics. Programming skills in Python, R, Scala, SQL. Knowledge of distributed computing or NoSQL is a plus. Client-facing experience in data warehousing and machine learning. Proven application of advanced analytical and statistical methods in industry. Leadership experience, either in managing projects or teams. Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts. Knowledge of prompt engineering and GenAI applications (RAG, Agentic systems). Understanding of engineering standards, QA, and risk management. Willingness to travel.
