This is a career opportunity you can be proud of. The Tax Senior Manager will be based in Singapore, reporting to the Senior Director, Tax in Ireland. You will be part of a world-class tax department responsible for global tax planning, transfer pricing, tax reporting, and audit defense. You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, leading analysis, planning, and implementation of cross-jurisdictional tax projects, while managing relationships with external advisors and tax authorities. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with excellent communication and management skills, possessing relevant tax expertise and a proven track record in managing projects efficiently. This role offers exposure to senior management within tax and finance teams. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage international tax projects with senior management and external advisors. Lead tax planning initiatives such as IP planning, intercompany debt financing, restructuring, and legal documentation review. Handle tax planning for subsidiaries in JAPAC and other countries, coordinating with finance and external advisors. Advise on corporate income tax considerations related to location strategies and global mobility. Prepare and review DAC6 and anti-hybrid analyses with advisors. Support US GAAP quarterly and annual tax provisions, ensuring SOX compliance. Interpret and implement global tax advice from external sources. Represent tax in cross-functional projects. Assist with SAP S4 HANA tax requirements. Review jurisdictional accounting and transfer prices for compliance with policies. Manage tax audits and improve processes for efficiency. Evaluate tax implications of legislative changes and manage external relationships. Perform other duties as required. Skills, Education, and Experience: Relevant tax qualification preferred. Qualified accountant preferred. 5-10 years of experience in Big Four or corporate tax roles. Knowledge of international tax issues including Pillar 2, GILTI, Subpart F, BEPS, OECD developments. Understanding of US GAAP and local GAAP related to tax. Familiarity with tax software and research tools. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams. Proven project management skills. Prior pharma experience is an advantage.
