As part of the investment team, you will contribute to the impact and climate project development portfolio by leading international investment and commercial strategies. You will utilize your expertise to perform feasibility analyses, valuations, and structure project offtake deals to execute investments in the expansion of ACT's APAC organization. You will have the opportunity to grow alongside the Climate Solutions team, focusing on an emerging market with significant potential. Your responsibilities include: Lead the investment deal process on opportunities across all products in the climate sector. Develop commercial and investment strategies, ensuring bottom-up strategies are in line with the global portfolio strategy. Assist the corporate sales team in product creation and pitches to long-term offtakers. Collaborate in creating the downstream strategy. Work with our local teams to assess the commercial attractiveness and feasibility of investments. Be aware of and understand local and national regulations, government policy, and international policy developments. Prepare investment documentation for Board-level assessment. Manage due diligence processes, perform valuation and financial analyses. Structure (legal and financial), negotiate, and close new project deals. Maintain excellent communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Identify investor leads through outreach, your network, events, and other sources to develop relationships within targeted markets and sectors. Your expertise: To be successful, candidates should have: 6-8 years of international experience within the job scope, with increasing responsibility. Prior deal experience in real asset investing (natural resources, infrastructure) in developing markets, demonstrating strong negotiation and commercial skills. A master's degree in finance, economics, econometrics, business, or technical field with above-average grades. The ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent analytical capabilities and attention to detail. Proactive, entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and a team player. Creative thinking to source innovative investment ideas. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate/close multi-partner deals. A network of stakeholders in institutional finance, family offices, corporate, and government sectors is a plus. Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Japanese language skills are a plus.
