The successful candidate will provide comprehensive engineering support for IP Telephony project. Experience in designing and engineering IP telephony systems/VoIP is essential. Your efforts will ensure the delivery of a reliable, scalable, and efficient communication infrastructure. Mandatory Skill-set Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications; Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in designing, setting up, and managing IP and network systems, (e.g., Cisco, ALE, Asterisk); Must have hands-on experience with VoIP protocols such as SIP, H.323 and QoS implementation; Must have excellent understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs; Possesses exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, consistently resolving complex technical issues efficiently; Experience in project support and vendor management is required; Must be meticulous with attention to detail, patience, and a positive attitude towards managing multiple stakeholders in a fast paced environment. Desired Skill-set PMP certified; Alcatel certified system engineer; CCIE. Responsibilities Manage infrastructure projects from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Develop and execute project plans, resource allocation plans, and risk management plans. Lead and manage project teams, including vendors and stakeholders, to achieve project objectives. Provide assessment of appropriate hardware, software, networking and cabling components for the targeted solutions / systems; Set up and configure IP / infrastructure systems including but not limited to PBX systems, VoIP gateways, SBC, IP phones, and related equipment; Ensure proper integration with existing network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN/VPN/firewall configurations; Implement Quality of Service (QoS) measures to prioritize voice traffic and ensure optimal performance; Integrate the IP / infrastructure systems with other communication platforms (e.g., email, contact center applications, property management system); Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, status updates, and progress reports. Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues. Manage project budget, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting expenses. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and ensure project deliverables meet business needs. Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, scope statements, and status reports. Conduct project closure activities, including documentation, evaluation, and lessons learned.
