Senior Design Engineer

What are you going to do About the Company: Our client designs, builds, and delivers high-performance marine geotechnical drill rigs and coring solutions for the global offshore, oil & gas, and renewables sectors. As demand in offshore wind and geotechnical services continues to grow, they are expanding their team — and are looking for passionate individuals ready to build a meaningful career in offshore engineering. Develop and review technical specifications and documentation to meet project requirements and industry standards. Review engineering designs to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. Identify and promptly communicate potential technical issues to stakeholders, ensuring project coherence and quality. Oversee the design approval process and coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges. Maintain accurate records of drawing revisions, updates, and project documentation. Use CAD software to perform drafting tasks based on project specifications. Collaborate with consultants and internal project teams to refine and develop design concepts. Provide technical and design support to the engineering and project teams. Requirements: Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering. 5 to 8 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in the marine or offshore sector. Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting using AutoCAD, with relevant technical expertise. Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., ABS, DNV, API). Experience with engineering calculations is an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
