The Finance Lead has the overall responsibility to ensure compliance with finance reporting requirements. He/She is accountable for general ledger accounting for US GAAP and local GAAP for Zoetis Singapore and the Singaporean branch of Zoetis Belgium. He/She is also accountable for the Annual Accounts of the Singapore entity (and branch if required). Additionally, he/she manages reporting requirements such as BS flux, BL reconciliation, JE preparation, accruals, etc. He/She supports the audit process and FS submission, including regulatory requirements like finance government surveys. The Finance Lead is the SGP Sox champion, ensuring timely review of all Sox controls and providing guidance to the business as needed. He/She prepares preliminary tax computations, liaises with external tax advisors, computes and records tax provisions, and ensures proper filing with tax authorities. The role involves coordinating responses during tax audits. He/She is responsible for preparing the budget and forecasts for CSS, coordinating reviews with stakeholders, and ensuring accurate reporting. The Finance Lead oversees lost sales reporting by coordinating with commercial and GMS teams and provides support for special transactions requiring specific accounting analyses. This role reports to the Sr. Finance Director Zoetis Belgium and GMS Compliance Lead, working closely with US Controllers, other finance teams, external auditors (KPMG), and legal teams as needed. The Finance Lead also provides ad-hoc financial support to other departments. Position Responsibilities Main activities / responsibilities Daily/Quarterly/Yearly Activities Supervise monthly and quarterly closing activities and entries. Serve as the main finance contact for SGP. Perform and supervise balance sheet account reconciliations in Blackline. Act as the point of contact for stakeholders regarding accounting rules and GL treatment. Prepare and post specific Local GAAP entries. Prepare statutory reconciliations for KPMG audits. Prepare and file statutory annual accounts, management, and executive reports. Coordinate statutory and US GAAP audits. Review MJEs, prepare tax computations and reserves, partner with external tax advisors, and assist with tax audits. Ensure all relevant reporting is completed. Manage budget and forecast activities for CSS, collaborating with the business. Oversee lost sales reporting, coordinating with GMS and Commercial teams. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, sharing best practices. People Management There are no direct reports to this role. Network and Collaboration Ensure escalation of issues to Sr. Finance Director Zoetis Belgium. Collaborate with US Controllers, GMS, Commercial, HR, Legal, Tax, and external auditors (KPMG). Collaborate with the legal team for finance support and provide ad-hoc support to other departments. Desired Skills and Experience Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or higher in finance or accounting. Minimum 10 years of financial process experience with increasing responsibility. Strong understanding of accounting, treasury, internal controls, and financial systems. Experience managing multi-national accounting operations is a plus. Experience in the Animal Health industry is an asset. Technical Skills Requirements Knowledge of SAP and Office systems.
