This role involves spearheading comprehensive testing strategies, both manual and automated, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions. Mandatory Skill-set Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems; Proven experience of at least 5-7 years in software testing, with a strong emphasis on test management and leadership roles; Strong understanding of testing processes, guidelines, frameworks, checklists, policies, and test case management, as well as quality assurance principles; Hands-on experience in testing activities such as integration, regression, performance, and sanity testing to ensure software components meet defined requirements and specifications; Good experience in business application testing and exposure to cross-system testing (integration testing); Proficiency in developing and executing detailed test scenarios and test cases; Experience with defect tracking systems and managing documentation of testing results and issues; Experience in automation testing using Tosca, Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, Postman, JMeter, or other open-source automation tools; Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior testers and promote best practices; Detail-oriented mindset with a keen ability to identify defects and inconsistencies; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams. Desired Skill-set Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA); TOSCA certification; Responsibilities Lead the development and review of comprehensive test scenarios and test cases, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards; Oversee various testing types to verify that software components meet requirements; Document test results meticulously in bug tracking systems like JIRA, prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution; Collaborate with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues effectively; Audit and enforce testing milestones and standards throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Provide ongoing support during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), delivering progress reports to stakeholders; Maintain clear communication with business, technical, and project teams regarding project requirements; Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, features, and customer usage to inform testing strategies; Take on additional testing responsibilities as needed to contribute to the project’s success.
