Structuring, private credit, and mezzanine deal experience is highly relevant. Banking industry experience preferred. Permanent headcount, based in Singapore. Responsibilities include: Participating in the origination and negotiation of new loans, including deal structuring, loan terms, pricing, and covenants. Experience with loan-on-loan structures and back leverage is advantageous. Developing the real estate private credit space across APAC, focusing on higher risk transactions. Formulating strategies to enhance the corporate lending business. Leading marketing efforts to grow the non-recourse property finance business in Asia Pacific. Overseeing deal execution and documentation from start to finish. Managing internal processes with management, credit, risk, legal, and compliance departments; preparing term sheets and loan proposals for approval. Reviewing credit applications, cash flow projections, and property memos. Monitoring and analyzing the property loan portfolio in APAC. Ideal candidate profile: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. 10-15 years’ experience with a commercial bank, investment bank, or real estate fund. Strong financial statement analysis skills and understanding of complex financing structures. Knowledge of the real estate markets in Asia, especially Korea, India, and Vietnam, with good credit judgment. Fluent in English and at least one other widely used Asian language for communication. Proactive problem-solver with leadership potential and a positive attitude. Well-organized with attention to detail and good communication skills.
