Project Manager (IT Infrastructure)

HCL is looking for a Project Manager (IT Infrastructure) The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. Soft Skills: Proficient in project management software and tools for planning, tracking, and reporting. Familiarity with IT infrastructure components, including networking, servers, and cloud services. Understanding of compliance frameworks and security protocols relevant to infrastructure projects. Excellent understanding of IT policies and processes along with equipment to ensure that IT Operations run smoothly and efficiently Manage and coordinate various aspects of infrastructure development Can establish and maintain effective relationships with business and IT customers to gain their trust and respect Ability to communicate effectively with senior IT and business leaders with strong verbal and written skills Deep understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business goals. Lead and mentor project management teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Experience In depth understanding of project terminology and methodology 7 years of experience managing multiple projects and project teams In depth Risk / Issue / Change Management knowledge Developing executive level PowerPoint presentations Expert skill using Microsoft Project to drive project execution and manage to critical path Experience in managing constrained schedules and resources in a rapidly evolving environment Ability to understand interdependencies and can connect the dots on how one part of a project impacts another Hosting meetings, taking meeting notes, and documenting action items Tracking action items and working with owners to obtain status What we offer: Life insurance Major Medical Expenses Insurance (extends to spouse and 2 children under 25 years of age, if applicable).
