Automation Application Specialist at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics Join us to support the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of automated diagnostic systems. This role involves working closely with laboratory staff, customers, and cross-functional teams to ensure automation solutions meet laboratory needs and improve efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Implementation and Support: Assist in installing, configuring, and validating automated diagnostic systems. Ensure seamless integration with existing workflows. Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting support. Customer Training and Education: Conduct training for laboratory staff and customers. Develop training materials and documentation. Optimization and Continuous Improvement: Analyze workflows for automation opportunities. Work with customers to optimize system performance. Implement improvements to maximize efficiency. Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on automation in diagnostics. Stay updated on technological advancements. Provide guidance to teams and customers. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., FDA, ISO). Conduct audits and maintain quality control. Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with sales, marketing, R&D, and support teams. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of activities. Report on project progress and system performance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Biomedical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related; Master’s preferred. 3-5 years of experience with automation systems in diagnostics or labs. Strong technical skills with diagnostic automation and lab equipment. Proficiency with relevant software/tools. Fluency in English, Italian, and a second EU language (Spanish, German, or French).
