IT Business Analyst – Intermodal & Logistics Solutions Join to apply for the IT Business Analyst – Intermodal & Logistics Solutions role at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company . We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong technical expertise and a solid background in the logistics sector , with particular focus on air cargo and intermodal transport solutions . The ideal candidate will have direct experience in the air freight industry , understanding its operational and system complexities, and will be able to interact effectively with both business stakeholders and software development teams to support the delivery of scalable and innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities Analyze business needs and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements for logistics and intermodal transport solutions, with a focus on air cargo operations. Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate communication between business and IT, ensuring alignment on project goals and priorities. Support the definition, planning, and delivery of IT projects related to transport optimization, cost reduction, and process automation. Monitor and analyze performance KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting decision-making with data-driven insights. Oversee system integration activities and ensure alignment with existing architecture and operational processes. Collaborate with development teams to validate solution feasibility, track progress, and ensure timely delivery. Contribute to user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management to guarantee smooth system adoption. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards (e.g. ISO), while promoting sustainability and innovation. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with proven experience in the air cargo and logistics sectors. Solid technical understanding of software development processes, APIs, and system integration. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. Availability to travel internationally.
