Technical Lead - C/C++ Programming

Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to manage our Multimedia/Video Decoder team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in video decoding, multimedia frameworks, and application development, along with excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities. The Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the design, development, and optimization of video decoding solutions and multimedia applications. Responsibilities : - Lead and manage a team of engineers working on video decoder and multimedia projects. - Design, develop, and optimize video decoding solutions and multimedia applications. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. - Drive the development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications. - Conduct research and prototyping of future multimedia technologies. - Ensure adherence to software development methodologies and best practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Qualifications : - Strong proficiency in C and C++. - Extensive working experience in Video Decoder or Multimedia domain. - Hands-on experience with multimedia frameworks such as GStreamer, and multimedia application development. - In-depth knowledge of various Multimedia Frameworks (GStreamer, FFmpeg) and multimedia file formats. - Strong understanding of Video Codec (H264 / MPEG/HEVC / VP9 / AV1) specifications. - Significant hands-on experience with the Linux development environment, including GCC and makefiles. - Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. - Research-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills. - Willingness to participate in early prototyping work on future technologies. - Proficient in debugging using GDB and Valgrind. - Hands-on experience with Git and Docker. - Experience with structured software development methodologies such as Agile. - Proven investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Sound knowledge of Design Patterns.
