Senior Voice Technical Engineer - Monitoring Tools

Job Description : - Voice Technical Engineer Establish and maintain global standards for conferencing systems or equivalent in Live Events platform management such as TMS and UBS TV (Vbrick). - Should have knowledge related to Digital Signage and IPTV (BrightSign and AppSpace) - Provide technical assistance and advice for resolving problems with conference systems. - Monitor and alert for critical Live events or hybrid video conferences to the respective SMEs and teams. - Experience with Utelogy management and monitoring required. - Work with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of conferencing platforms into the IT environment. - Work with stakeholders to ensure dependability and accessibility of conferencing platforms. - Support and purpose documentation creation related to conferencing platforms and operations. - Familiar with ITIL framework such Incident, Change and Problem management. - Should have good communication skills and knowledge in MS office apps. - Experience with Agile and Site Reliability Engineering disciplines. - Your team You will be working within the Voice Services team, providing L3 Operational support for Standard Trader Voice globally. - This involves providing operational assistance in support of project initiatives, in addition to maintaining product stability for existing products and services. - Our remit encompasses Cisco core voice & BT Trading infrastructure, to tailored CAS middleware and multimedia troubleshooting. Your expertise : - Preferably 8 years' experience working as a Voice Engineer within the financial services industry. - Practical experience with Voice and Video products and services, including : VBrick, Digital Signage IPTV and Utelogy. - Knowledge of Cloud & DevOps practices and principles with Azure. - Experience in monitoring Voice infrastructure, analysing Dashboards and investigating issues / incidents affecting the health, stability and performance of the products and services that we support. - Knowledge of how to identify and resolve issues with systems, services and applications. - Able to proactively drive continuous improvement opportunities, including performance, cost, process and stability optimizations, through working closely with development and infrastructure teams. - Good foundational understanding of Agile Methodologies, AI/ML for automating operational initiatives and ITIL / Change Management processes. - Knowledge of core Azure Cloud computing concepts (AZ-900, MS-900, SC-900, Certification as a minimum requirement, with AZ-104 certification preferred). - Fluent in English, both written and spoken. - Good report writing and documentation skills, and a strong verbal communicator. - Able to present concepts, ideas, and recommendations in a clearly structured and logical fashion. - Self-motivated, able to prioritise, with excellent time management and goal driven. - Quick learner with ability to grasp modern technologies. - Collaborative nature; willing to share ideas, debate solutions, to achieve consensus on the best way to drive the service forward for the betterment of the organization. - Able to work in a high pressure and time critical environment. - Attention to detail, keen eye on due diligence Experience working in a financial or regulated sector, aware of best practices. Knowledge and experience in the following coding languages is desirable : - JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, PHP, Phyton, API's Knowledge and experience with the following applications is desirable : - Tableau Desktop, Power BI, MS SQL, MySQL, Cisco Call Manager, BT ITS Trading Platform, Verbal Voice Recording.
