Database Administrator - PostgreSQL/Oracle DB

Requirement : Oracle, PostGreSQL : 3-4 : : 7-10 years of relevant experience Job Description : Overall objective : To carry out activities relating to the deployment and administration of Oracle / PostGreSQL project constraints : Fluent English, ability to travel for customer site assignments of 2 weeks every 4 to 6 weeks deliverables are : - Installation, configuration and hardening of Oracle and PostGreSQL databases - Analysis and resolution of performance problems - Development of supervision skills : - Oracle - Expert - Imperative - PostGreSQL - Advanced - Imperative - Oracle - Proficient - Imperative - PGBackrest, Grafana, CISCAT - Proficient - : Fluent English description : - Installation, configuration, hardening of Oracle (mostly 19.x, sometimes 12.x) or PostGreSQL (15.X or 17.x) databases in highly available environments (cluster), with replication on secondary sites (active/passive or active/active), partitioning, encryption, indexing, schema implementation, full/incremental backup - Implementation of a dashboard to monitor the database (Grafana) - Analysing performance problems during the Build phase (data migration) and Run phase (slowness or desire for capacity extension) - Analysis and resolution of malfunctions under time pressure / causal analysis - Support to our customers for the above activities when the customer is responsible for the infrastructure - Frequent assignments abroad in customer environments - Occasional weekend call-outs during production Code : FR15.3 - FR-SYSTEM - IT Architecture, Business Analyst, Database, Network - Lev. 3 Profile Definition : IT Architecture/Business (ref:hirist.tech)
