Applied Electro Magnetics - Product Architect - Embedded System

Job profile : We are seeking a highly skilled Product Architect with a strong background in defense systems to lead the architectural design of mission-critical defense products. This role requires a deep understanding of complex, secure systems and the ability to translate operational requirements into scalable and resilient product architectures. You'll collaborate with program managers, engineers, and government stakeholders to ensure our solutions meet rigorous performance, interoperability, and compliance standards. Job Role and Responsibilities : - Define and oversee the technical architecture of defense-grade products. - Ensuring scalability, modularity, and compliance with defense standards. - Work closely with military and government clients to interpret system requirements and constraints (e. , MIL-STD, STANAG, ARINC). - Lead technical design sessions and architecture reviews for multi-domain systems (air, land, sea). - Ensure the architecture addresses data integrity, latency, survivability, and real-time performance. - Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams, including systems engineers, hardware architects, and software developers. - Contribute to technical proposals and responses for RFPs/RFIs in the defense domain. - Align architectural design with Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition processes, including MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, DO178B compliance. - Maintain documentation and artifacts needed for certification and accreditation. - Benchmarking of products to be developed. Skills and Experience : Mandatory : - 10 Plus years of experience in Defense and Avionics product, Display based product development and system level analysis. - Communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, ARIN429, ARINC818, Staneg, RS323, RS422, RS485). - Display interfaces, LVDS, DVI, HDMI for MFD and LAD. - Product Development life cycle, safety, security requirement, solution Architecture. - Design for manufacturability & Reliability, Technical Regulations and standards for MIL-Grade product. - experience in product qualification, EMI-EMC (CS, EFT, Surge, RS, RE, ESD), understanding of signal integrity. - Effective problem identification & solution skills with proven analytical & customer handling ability. - Avionics and defense product Qualification Documentation experience including IV&V. - Rugged product design experience for military and avionics. - knowledge of EMI/EMC, IV&V (Mil-Std-461E, DO178B, Mil-Std-810E). - Products delivered to customer. Preferred : - Knowledge of AI/ML in defense applications, edge computing, or sensor fusion. Qualification : Mandatory : B. Tech ( Electical or Electronics and : M. Tech ( ECE). (ref:hirist.tech)
