Engineering Manager - Backend Architecture

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs using Golang and Python. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test, and production environments. - Ensure the security and integrity of data. - Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership. Requirements : - 8 years of experience in backend development. - Experience with AWS cloud services. - Proficient in database design and management (SQL, NoSQL). - Solid understanding of microservices architecture. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. - Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience in the insurance or fintech industry. - Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in Southeast Asia. - Experience with DevOps practices (ref:hirist.tech)
