Salesforce Functional Tester

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in functional testing of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of the platform. You will work closely with the development and business teams to verify that the system meets business requirements and is free from defects. Key Responsibilities : - Perform functional testing of Salesforce Marketing Cloud applications, ensuring all features and integrations are working as expected. - Create, execute, and document detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Work closely with functional and technical teams to identify test scenarios and validate the correctness of configurations. - Identify, document, and report defects/issues found during testing. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and re-test once fixes are implemented. - Ensure defects are tracked and managed properly through the testing lifecycle. - Maintain clear and detailed test documentation, including test cases, execution results, and test evidence. - Document test scenarios and cases based on business requirements and user stories. - Prepare comprehensive test reports for stakeholders, summarizing results, issues, and risks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Salesforce developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure testing aligns with business objectives. - Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to ensure effective communication of testing progress. - Proactively identify areas for process improvement within testing and Salesforce configurations. - Stay updated on new Salesforce features and functionalities, and incorporate them into test plans as : - A minimum of 7 years of experience in functional testing, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud. - Strong experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud configuration, features, and integration testing. - Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities, such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Audience Builder. - Experience in testing Salesforce Marketing Cloud APIs, integrations with third-party systems, and data management processes. - Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing tools and techniques. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools like JIRA for test management and tracking. - Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant are a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
