Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in both manual and automation testing, particularly within microservices and API architectures. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring software quality and will play a key role in testing complex systems. We are looking for candidates who can join immediately. Must-Have Skills : - 7 years of experience in manual and automation testing. - Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman, and programming languages such as Python or Golang. - Hands-on experience with testing microservices architectures. - Proficient in Git and Git-based version control systems (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket). - Strong knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). - Solid understanding of SQL. Nice-to-Have Skills : - Experience with Godog/C#/SpecFlow. - Familiarity with monitoring tools such as New Relic and Application Insights. - Knowledge of CI/CD best practices. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing. - Perform thorough API testing to ensure functionality, performance, and security of APIs. - Develop and implement automation frameworks for microservices testing. - Utilize Git and Git-based repositories for version control and collaboration. - Apply TDD and BDD methodologies to drive the development of high-quality software. - Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and consistency. - (Nice-to-have) Utilize Godog/C#/SpecFlow for BDD testing. - (Nice-to-have) Use monitoring tools (New Relic, App Insights) to analyze system performance and identify potential issues. - (Nice-to-have) Contribute to the implementation of CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. - Identify, document, and track software defects. - Communicate test results and provide recommendations for improvement.
