Roku Developer

Responsibilities : - Take ownership of technical architecture, coding, and development standards. - Write high-quality, reusable code and ensure best practices are followed. - Develop new features and enhance existing functionality based on project requirements. - Work closely with the product management team to provide accurate estimates and clarifications. - Create design artifacts and maintain accurate technical documentation. - Develop and maintain Roku applications using BrightScript and SceneGraph. - Integrate with third-party REST APIs and backend services. - Ensure compliance with Roku certification guidelines and maintain application performance. - Debug and troubleshoot issues across various Roku devices. - Manage the submission and publishing process for the Roku Channel Store Required Skills & Experience : - 5 years of experience in Roku app development. - Strong proficiency in BrightScript and SceneGraph. - Experience working with Roku SDK, Roku Direct Publisher, and RAF (Roku Advertising Framework). - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and handling JSON/XML data. - Experience with optimization and debugging tools (e.g., Roku Dev Tools, Eclipse, or VS Code with BrightScript extension). - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control (e.g., Git). - Experience integrating with Firebase, or third-party APIs. - In-depth knowledge of Roku Channel Store submission and certification. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
