Principal Engineer - Microservices Architecture

Key Responsibilities : - Architect and design complex, scalable, fault-tolerant, high-performance microservices for SaaS platforms. - Drive the technical vision and strategy for our Serverless architecture. - Provide expert guidance on system architecture, API design, and software design. - Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and frameworks. - Design and develop robust microservices using Node.js/TypeScript. - Implement and manage API gateways and service meshes. - Ensure high performance and scalability of microservices. - Optimize microservices for cloud environments (AWS, Azure). - Design and implement solutions using various cloud services (AWS, Azure) to build enterprise-level applications. - Manage cloud infrastructure for high availability and scalability. - Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments. - Design and develop single-page applications using React/Angular. - Integrate front-end applications with backend services. - Ensure a seamless and responsive user experience. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams. - Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence. - Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality. - Drive the adoption of engineering best practices. - Lead development efforts within an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban). - Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines. - Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. - Analyze and solve complex technical problems. - Drive innovation and explore new technologies to improve our platform. - Provide solutions to various use case/business Exp: 15 to 20 years. - Experience in a technical leadership role. - Strong ability to architect for product requirements and implement them simply and efficiently. - Solid foundation in system architecture, API, and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills. - Hands-on experience in designing and developing complex, scalable, fault-tolerant, high-performance microservices for SaaS platforms. - Strive to push forward our Serverless tech vision and are an advocate for engineering best practices. - Experience in technical leadership and guiding other developers to improve product quality and team efficiency. - Experience working in Agile development and knowledge of Scrum and Kanban. - Experience in providing solutions to various use case/ business problems using various cloud services like AWS, and Azure to build enterprise-level applications. - Experience in creating single-page applications with React/Angular and working with backend services using Node JS/Typescript (ref:hirist.tech)
