Database Administrator - MySQL

Job Summary : We are looking for a skilled and experienced MySQL Database Administrator with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience to manage, maintain, and optimize our database systems. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in MySQL database architecture, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and ensuring high Responsibilities : - Install, configure, and maintain MySQL database servers. - Monitor database performance and implement changes for improvement. - Perform regular backups and recovery operations. - Optimize database performance through query optimization and indexing. - Ensure database security, integrity, and high availability. - Manage database replication and clustering setups. - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. - Plan for capacity and database growth. - Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for schema design, deployment, and Requirements : - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in MySQL DBA roles. - Strong knowledge of MySQL versions 8 .0 - Experience with MySQL replication (master-slave, master-master). - Proficient in performance tuning and query optimization. - Experience with backup and recovery strategies . - Familiarity with MySQL monitoring tools - Understanding of database security best practices. - Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
