Role : QA Automation Engineer Location : Mohali, Chandigarh Experience : 1-4 years Employment Type : Full-time Job Overview : As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation test frameworks, executing automated test cases, and collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve defects. Your expertise in test automation tools and methodologies will contribute to the overall efficiency of the testing process, enabling faster and more reliable software releases. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java/Python. - Design and implement robust test automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage. - Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar to ensure seamless backend functionality. - Work with TestNG, CI/CD pipelines, and Jenkins to integrate automation into the development lifecycle. - Identify, analyze, and document defects, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with the development team. - Perform regression testing, performance testing, and integration testing to validate software stability. - Participate in code reviews, test plan reviews, and requirement analysis to improve overall software quality. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation to enhance testing strategies. Skills & Qualifications Required : - Proficiency in Selenium for web automation. - Strong programming skills in Java or Python. - Hands-on experience with API Testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI. - Experience working with TestNG, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and other automation tools. - Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud-based testing solutions is a plus. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
