Junior Mechanical Design Engineer – Medical Devices

Perdigó is an engineering consultancy based in Sant Just Desvern, Barcelona . We work on medical products and technology to change people’s lives . We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer who is highly motivated to contribute to projects alongside our Medical team! What would you do: Work from concepts and functional prototypes for novel medical devices to production-ready designs and specifications Conceptualise, design, prototype, and test components and subsystems. Generate 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings Review designs for industrial production Analyse and calculate tolerances Produce detailed technical and regulatory documentation for the design. Communicate your work in a multidisciplinary environment where the status quo is continuously challenged What we need from you: Education as mechanical, industrial or product design engineer Work experience in mechanical and/or product design and development Strong analytical skills: you have the ability to use fundamental physics principles to assess and develop design ideas Skilled in CAD software (preferably SolidWorks and/or Fusion 360) Responsible and result-oriented; professional and ambitious Drive to change people’s lives through medical products and technologies Being based or willing to be based in the Barcelona area Good communications skills in English (work will be performed in English) We offer: A full-time job opportunity A steep learning curve in the world of Medical Devices Working alongside fresh, experienced, and entrepreneurial team members Competitive salary Reasonably flexible working hours If you feel you would be a great addition to the team don’t hesitate any further!
