Head of Production

Walker Cole International has been retained to search for a Head of Production to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Manchester area. As the Head of Production, you will oversee and lead a large operational function, taking responsibility for the delivery of the operational strategy on site to achieve company objectives. Your responsibilities as the Head of Production will be: Overall responsibility for all Operational functions (Manufacturing, Engineering, HSE, Procurement, Planning, Warehouse) Setting annual site operational strategy and budget plan and owning delivery Delivering operational excellence objectives and supporting continuous improvement Managing and coaching business unit leads The successful candidate for the Head of Production position will demonstrate the following: Extensive consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing industry experience Excellent communication and leadership skills Experience managing cross-functional teams in a manufacturing operations environment GMP knowledge Head of Operations | Operations Lead | Operational Leadership | Operations Strategy | Operational Strategy | Operations Excellence | Operational Excellence| GMP | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
