Contract Back-end Developer

iO Associates are supporting a growing technology consultancy in the Security and Defence sector in their search for an experienced Back-End Developer who thrives in high-assurance environments. Location: Cheltenham - hybrid working available Rate: £625 - £700 per day, Inside IR35 Duration: 12 months Due to the exciting nature of the role and the projects you will be working on, you must hold an active UKC DV Clearance to be eligible. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the core services and infrastructure that underpin secure applications. You'll collaborate closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, performant, and secure systems Tech Stack Hands-on experience with Java and/or Python Comfortable working in Linux environments Exposure to containerisation or orchestration tools like OpenShift or Docker Excellent communication and collaboration skills Previous experience working in high-assurance or classified environments (preferred) If this sounds of interest, or you hold the right clearance but are looking for a slightly different role, please reach out for a confidential conversation to find out more
