Class 1 Driver Nights

Location: Glasgow Salary: £36,000 per annum Shifts: 20:00 06:00 10 nights every fortnight to be agreed Role Summary: Drive company vehicles safely and comply with all relevant legislation and rules related to the transportation of goods. Duties and Responsibilities: This is a list of the main duties of the role and should not be considered an exhaustive list. Complete deliveries and collections across the UK. Load and unload following company procedures, using appropriate equipment. Maintain load security during transport. Adhere to vehicle safety regulations, tachograph operation, and Working Time Directive. Experience & Qualifications: CE Licence required. Valid Driver CPC card (DQC) essential. Digital tachograph card essential. Minimum 2 years of LGV driving experience (must be over 25 for insurance purposes). Strong knowledge of EU Regulations, Working Time Directive, and UK road networks. Familiarity with manual loading, unloading, and freight security. Unacceptable endorsements: Drink or drug-related offences (last 10 years), disqualifications (last 5 years), and any IN, CD, DD, DR, or BA codes on licence.
