Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant? Would you like to secure a permanent, full time role? Do you consider yourself strong with Excel? If so, read on Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with our innovative and commercial client based in Lanarkshire to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full time basis Reporting into the Company Accountant, the Accounts Assistant will be a key member of the finance function and be able to demonstrate a strong ability to work well as part of the team alongside the ability to work using their own initiative. As well as demonstrating a strong knowledge of Excel, the successful candidate will have previous experience using financial software (eg Sage) and possess the ability to work well to existing processes and procedures. On a day to day basis your responsibilties will include: Purchase ledger processing including reconciling supplier statements. Sales ledger including issuing statements. Bank reconciliations for multiple companies within the Group. Preparation of VAT returns. Producing reports using Excel. General accounts administration.
