Senior Credit Strategy Analyst InterQuest are supporting a business lender in London who are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Strategy Analyst to join their team. You will play a critical role in assessing and managing risk, optimizing the credit risk process, and forecasting the performance of loan portfolios. You will collaborate with various teams, including credit risk modelling, engineering, data management, capital markets, and business operations, to align on goals and deliver impactful analytical solutions. The Role: As a Senior Credit Strategy Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering value to both investors and the business by optimizing the credit lifecycle management process. Your key responsibilities will include: Developing and analysing new credit strategies with a strong focus on detail and performance measurement. Collaborating with teams across the business to implement, monitor, and refine these strategies. Communicating complex analyses in a clear and concise manner, translating them into actionable insights. Conducting in-depth statistical analysis, forecasting, and data mining across various datasets to guide decision-making in key strategic areas. Staying at the forefront of innovation in the credit space, leveraging new tools, data, and technologies to deliver improvements for both customers and investors. Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Keeping a clear focus on driving business results and delivering on objectives. Challenging existing processes and proactively identifying solutions to potential risks and issues. Essential Skills: Experience from a similar Credit Risk strategy role focusing on SME lending Proven track record of implementing strategic and operational changes within an organization. Strong problem-solving abilities with an analytical approach and logical reasoning. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an easily digestible format. Advanced proficiency in Excel and a working knowledge of SQL. Familiarity with at least one programming language (R, SAS, Python).
