Job Description
Finance Business Partner Job Summary As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide financial insights, influence decision-making and drive efficiencies across the business. Acting as a trusted advisor to operational teams and leadership, you will support cost optimisation, profitability improvement and strategic growth. Key Responsibilities Partner with managers and leadership to align financial performance with business strategy. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial targets across multiple business areas. Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations. Analyse key financial metrics, identifying trends, risks and opportunities. Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvements. Provide financial modelling and analysis for strategic decisions (e.g., investments, expansions). Translate complex financial data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders. Collaborate with various departments to align financial and operational goals. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies and audit requirements. Standardise and improve financial processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Candidate Profile Key Skills & Competencies Leadership & Team Management: Ability to inspire and guide teams. Strategic Thinking: Aligning financial objectives with business goals. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of financial drivers and operational impact. Data Analysis & Modelling: Expertise in forecasting, variance analysis and scenario planning. Stakeholder Influence: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage non-financial audiences. Process Improvement: Experience in streamlining financial workflows. Resilience & Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required). Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred. Experience in financial planning, analysis or business partnering. Experience in multi-site or complex business environments is advantageous. Proficiency in financial tools (Excel, Power BI, SAP or similar ERP systems).
