Trading Systems Engineer | LDN

I'm currently partnered with a global trading firm who are looking for a systems engineer to join their London team. With over 30 years of experience in the space, this is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established team who are leaders in the trading space and pride themselves on the growth and development of their employees. Role Overview: Provide critical support for proprietary and third-party trading systems. Ensure maximum trading system availability and quick recovery from incidents. Support production systems across multiple asset classes and locations (primarily Linux, some Windows). Develop automation and monitoring tools, troubleshoot incidents, and automate software configuration. Maintain market connectivity and communicate with exchanges. Collaborate with global teams and document procedures. Requirements: Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with high-performance applications. Knowledge of FIX protocol, scripting, SQL, and Linux & Windows support. Experience with electronic trading systems and network communications. Flexible work schedule with rotating on-call coverage.
