Risk Analyst

Overview: A dynamic Financial Services organisation is seeking a Risk Management professional to join their team and support the implementation of a comprehensive risk management framework. This role will involve collaborating across departments to promote risk awareness, ensure compliance, and embed robust risk management practices within the business. Key Responsibilities: Provide second-line risk management oversight and support, ensuring adherence to the company's Risk Management Framework. Maintain and update records of risks, controls, and actions within the company’s risk management system, ensuring they align with business practices. Facilitate and conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, helping to develop strategies for risk mitigation. Assist senior risk management leaders with data collection and report preparation for governance committees. Analyse risk data and generate business-focused risk reports and metrics to enhance awareness and performance tracking against risk objectives. Contribute to the maintenance of the Risk Management Framework and supporting documentation. Take on ad-hoc projects and duties as needed to support business objectives and departmental goals. Essential Skills: Experience within a Risk Analyst position preferably within Financial Services Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Required Knowledge: Familiarity with the 'Three Lines of Defence' model in financial services. Knowledge of Risk & Control Frameworks in financial services.
