Optical Design Engineer Remote Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 ( DOE) A global leader in optical design is looking for a new Optical Design Engineer to join their rapidly growing R&D team developing products for a multitude of industries. Key Responsibilities: Proven ability on optical design and simulation Ability to lens design and lens data documentation Working within multi-discipline team to develop first stage prototypes Experience in Monte Carlo analysis Ability to practical test and measure ensuring accurate data Qualifications: Candidate must be able to obtain SC clearance Bachelor's 2:1 or better degree level in Optics and/or Physic Industrial experience in an optical system design & development function Experience using Zemax design software Positive, flexible approach to working with a 'can do' attitude If you are interested in the position and think you have the skills required as a Optical Design Engineer, please don't hesitate to apply.
