Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Biased) Central Cambridgeshire (PE15) Commutable from - Huntingdon, St. Ives, Peterborough, Wisbech, March, Ely, Sutton, Chatteris Monday - Friday Double Days (6-2 / 2-10) £43,000 Our client is a leading food manufacturing & packaging company, the site is part of a larger national organisation. Due to growth and further expansion within the factory, they are looking for an electrical biased maintenance engineer to join their team. Role & Responsibilities: Carry out PPM's, breakdowns, fault finding, testing & inspection off all production & packaging machinery Electrical & mechanical fault finding & repairs PLC - electrical fault finding Dealing with high-speed production lines & packaging machinery Working on sensors, motors, control panels, contactors, relays, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes Site services / facilities - water treatment plant, boilers, steam systems, BMS Continuous improvement project work Monitoring and ordering of spares & parts Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Must be an electrically biased maintenance engineer Qualifications needed - minimum City & Guilds Electrical Installation Time-served Apprenticeship trained Ideally have 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Strong electrical & mechanical fault finding and problem solving skills Comfortable working on own when needed Must have worked in food manufacturing or packaging PLC - electrical fault finding skills Mechanical fabrication, fitting, welding would be beneficial Happy working on production machinery, site services & facilities 'To apply please email your CV / resume to [ ]'. - Chris Gumm - 01908 010 438 If you are interested in this position please click 'apply'.
