Senior Mechanical Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead and collaborate with a team of skilled professionals, taking on technical leadership for a variety of challenging and rewarding projects. From cutting-edge consumer products and transport solutions to safety-critical medical devices, your expertise will shape high-profile designs that truly make a difference. Responsibilities: Take the lead on technical aspects of projects, finding creative solutions to complex engineering challenges. Guide and support junior team members, ensuring high standards of engineering work. Manage project finances and timelines, including team selection, budgeting, and client interactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring designs from concept through to final product launch. Engage with clients, ensuring clear communication and high levels of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements: 1st or upper 2nd class degree in Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification. Experience in product design or development, with a strong background in using Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and computational techniques across diverse manufacturing processes and materials. Proven success in overseeing and delivering projects across a wide range of industries. Strong ability to manage both the technical and financial/commercial aspects of projects.
