Job Title: Software Architect – C# .NET Location: Bristol (Hybrid – 2-3 days per week in the office, rest from home) Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 p/a Benefits About Us: Are you a visionary software architect ready to make an impact? The Role: As our Software Architect , you will play a key role in driving the design and architecture of our platform, leveraging your expertise in C# .NET . Working within a collaborative and ambitious team, you’ll shape the technical direction, tackle complex challenges, and deliver scalable solutions that will form the foundation of our product’s future. This is a hybrid role, with a flexible work-from-home option, but we’d love for you to join us in our Bristol office for 2-3 days a week to foster team collaboration and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Lead the architectural design and development of high-performance, scalable systems using C# .NET . Shape and influence the tech stack, focusing on AWS or Azure cloud platforms to build cloud-native solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of robust technical solutions. Champion best practices for clean, maintainable code, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship to the development team, ensuring they grow while delivering top-notch solutions. Own the technical roadmap, driving forward-thinking decisions that keep our product at the cutting edge. Stay on top of emerging technologies and leverage them to enhance product architecture and performance. Be the go-to technical leader, ensuring the systems are future-proof, scalable, and aligned with business needs. What We’re Looking For: Extensive experience as a Software Architect with strong expertise in C# and .NET Core . Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure . Proven track record of designing scalable and high-performance systems. Deep knowledge of Docker , Kubernetes , and other containerization/orchestration technologies. Solid experience with microservices , APIs , and distributed systems architecture. Excellent problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset. Strong leadership ability to drive technical decisions and inspire your team. Ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Have: Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
