Junior Finance Analyst (part-time)

Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading global wine & spirits business that is urgently looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to join the Finance team on a part-time 12-month FTC. Working 3 days a week, you will support the analysis activities with focus on preparing large datasets, producing reports on Microsoft Excel, supporting the Finance Analyst and involvement in financial monitoring. On Offer Salary will be circa £132 per day 10% Performance Bonus 3 days a week in the London based office Key Responsibilities: Database Maintenance: Oversee the accurate upkeep of the Customer “A&P” and Supplier database within the system. Financial Forecasting and Budgeting Support: Provide support to the Finance Analyst in development of financial forecasts and budgets. Performance Reporting: Generate and distribute weekly and monthly performance reports, making sure that the reports are up to date with the relevant information. Price Building Support: Build-up of a base for Rolling forward annual customers’ price lists and costs. Sample Spend Oversight: Track and report on Sample Spend to ensure accurate cash management and allocation among departments. Candidate Requirements: 2 to 3 years proven experience in data analysis and interpretation of complex financial data. Experience and knowledge of basic financial principles Advanced MS Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and charts Comfortable handling large datasets and producing reports. High level of attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working with data.
