Financial Accountant

A leading hospitality collective with multiple vibrant food venues across London is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This is a hands-on role offering a unique opportunity to support commercial success while maintaining financial rigor and driving process improvements. What You’ll Be Doing: Take ownership of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end processes. Act as the key link between outsourced finance teams and internal stakeholders. Prepare revenue and turnover reports for brand partners, landlords, and government bodies. Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and highlight financial risks. Monitor banking discrepancies, site-level sales, and discounts. Manage intercompany reconciliations across multiple locations and vendors. Support internal audit readiness and board-level financial reporting. Recommend and implement efficiency improvements in financial workflows. What We’re Looking For: ✔ Experience in hospitality / restaurant finance (multi-site preferred) ✔ Strong Excel skills (SUMIF, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH), and confidence using systems like Xero, Aquilla, or Sharperlight ✔ Good understanding of EPOS systems and how they feed into financial accuracy ✔ Highly detail-oriented with the ability to spot and resolve discrepancies ✔ A proactive self-starter with a process improvement mindset
