Job Description
Our client is seeking a D365 Senior dev with team leadership skills focused on Customer and Field service. Location: Remote Duration: 1 year Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary development team, including technical leads, architects, and developers. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with architects, product owners, QA leads, and business analysts to deliver high-quality, business-aligned solutions and to prioritize work for the team. Champion Development Process : Own and optimize the development lifecycle by introducing agile best practices and scalable delivery models. Identify opportunities for acceleration and innovation and propose options when challenged by constraints. Delivery Accountability: Take full ownership of development deliverables; monitor progress, resolve blockers proactively, and ensure timely completion. Knowledge Management: Promote knowledge sharing through well-maintained documentation and internal learning initiatives to support sustainable development. Release Strategy Compliance: Collaborate with the deployment team to ensure adherence to release strategy and development best practices for smooth rollouts. Team Culture: Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment built on open communication, accountability, and continuous improvement. Risk Management: Proactively identify technical and delivery risks and engage stakeholders early to resolve issues before they escalate and remove roadblocks from the team’s path. Team Structure & Clarity: Define and align team structures, roles, and responsibilities to ensure clear ownership and efficient execution of project goals. Requirements: Experience: 8 years of technical expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Field Service including 4 years in team leadership, people management/supervision roles in enterprise or consulting environments. Technical Excellence: Background on Solutions Architecture, Technical Design Patterns, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and ALM Strategies are preferred. Team Leadership: Demonstrated success leading diverse teams, including architects, tech leads, and developers, with a focus on alignment and delivery. Agile and DevOps Proficiency: Strong understanding of Development processes, Agile methodologies and DevOps principles. Communication Skills: Effective communicator with strong interpersonal, collaboration and organizational skills. Proactive Mindset: A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership who can anticipate and remove roadblocks to keep team moving forward. Continous Improvement: Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset, proactively identifying and implementing enhancements to processes, structure, and tools to drive greater operational efficiency. Problem Solving: Champion collaborative problem-solving by encouraging diverse viewpoints and skilfully managing dissent to reach well-rounded solutions and conflict resolutions.
