Junior Civil Engineer / Civil Engineering Technologist

We are searching for a dynamic and motivated Civil Engineer/ Civil Engineering Technologist to join an established medium-sized Consulting Engineering firm located in Bellville (Cape Town). The candidate must have 1-3 years experience as a Civil Engineering Consultant with post-graduation design experience in municipal infrastructure projects (Water networks, sewer networks, stormwater network, roads and parking areas). Other key requirements: Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Quantity and cost estimates for tender and construction projects. Preparing Civil3D drawings and specifications. Preparing 3D surfaces, volume calculations, corridors, and comprehensive knowledge of Civil 3D feature lines and grading. Preparation of specifications and reports. Conduct Inspections and site visits. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. N.Dip or BTech: Civil Engineering / BEng Tech: Civil Engineering, registered as Candidate with ECSA. 1-3 year's of post-graduation design experience in municipal infrastructure projects (Water networks, sewer networks, stormwater network, roads, and parking areas). Have good communication skills. Stable employment record. Code B drivers license with own vehicle.
