Technical Reporting Analyst (Investment Management) – 9-month Fixed Term Contract

Our client, a global asset management company, is seeking a Technical Reporting Analyst to join their team. Our client’s dynamic Reporting Solutions team plays a pivotal role in enhancing the internal and external client reporting experience. As a key member of this team, you will leverage technologies such as data warehouses, MS SQL Server, Python, and more to implement and refine innovative reporting solutions. Your responsibilities will include gathering business requirements, developing detailed specifications, implementing robust solutions, and resolving queries. If you’re passionate about working with data, uncovering insights, and transforming information into meaningful reports - all within a collaborative environment - this could be the perfect opportunity for you Responsibilities: Create detailed reports, extracts, and queries based on requirement specifications using technologies such as SQL Analyse and optimise the performance of stored procedures to ensure efficiency and scalability Develop a solid understanding of the organisation’s data architecture to support reporting solutions and resolve queries effectively Collaborate with various business units to gather requirements and translate them into clear, actionable specifications Identify and resolve issues in existing reports, implementing corrective actions where necessary Communicate analysis findings clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders Requirements: IT related degree is preferable, further studies is a requirement Relevant 3 - 5 years working experience Microsoft Technologies: MS SQL Server, Excel, Transact SQL experience essential Asset management experience is highly desirable Some Python knowledge will be an advantage Source Control System knowledge desirable, GitHub Desired attributes: The ability to ‘approach and own’ and continuously looks for opportunities to develop Ability to recognise and embrace change Ability to analyse, interpret and assimilate information A curiosity about technology and its potential to drive innovation
