Accountant - S/Subs

S/subs Cape Town Experience Accountant needed for an International Insurance company in the area. Matric essential Accounting Degree essential Office based - 8h00 to 5h00 Mon to friday 3 to 5 years exp as an Accountant Capturing the monthly financial data in Xero, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports. IFRS exp essential due to client base and product offering Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries, and management of the general ledger. Creation of invoices, credit memos and electronic payments Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Conduct and maintain monthly reconciliations. Provide assistance during audits. Maintain and organize financial documentation and records for easy access and reference. Participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems. Staff administration, including preparation of payslips. Other ad hoc duties related to the role.
