IT/Server and Security Administrator

Key Responsibilities: · Monitor backup jobs, identify failures, and implement corrective actions. · Perform regular backup tests and recovery drills to ensure data can be restored efficiently. · Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving any issues or vulnerabilities. · Set up and manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring proper access control. · Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates and backups. · Provide technical support to end-users, responding to inquiries and troubleshooting issues in a timely manner. · Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals. · Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT solutions and strategies. · Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for reference and training purposes. · Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, such as system migrations or upgrades. · Provide training and support to users on IT systems and applications as needed. · Willingness to learn and understand our ERP and systems and applications The successful candidate must have the following qualifications and characteristic · Microsoft or Comptia certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Comptia Server ) · Proven experience working in an IT support role, preferably in a corporate environment · Experience with networking (routers, firewalls, VPNs, LAN/WAN) · Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking protocols, and software applications. · Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions. · Experience Microsoft Exchange · Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with users of varying technical abilities. · Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
