Financial Manager

Purpose of the Role: To ensure all financial operations are conducted with accuracy, regulatory compliance and ethical integrity. The role requires maintaining and refining financial systems, policies, and controls while leading a finance team committed to operational efficiency and financial excellence . Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To: Manage financial operations and ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls Develop, implement, and oversee financial policies and reporting procedures Review and ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations and statutory compliance Prepare financial statements and coordinate the external audit process Monitor procurement processes and maintain proper supplier and contract controls Manage tax, CIPC, and BEE certification compliance and planning Lead, support, and develop the finance team to enhance business integration and efficiency Qualifications | Experience | Criteria: BCom degree in Accounting Completed SAIPA or CA(SA) articles Minimum one-year post-articles experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong background in Food Manufacturing or Agricultural industry Knowledge and experience in inventory control and management Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a finance team Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Understanding of BBBEE compliance is advantageous Fluent in English and Afrikaans (read, write, speak) Financial analysis and strategic reporting to support decision-making Budget preparation and long-term financial forecasting Risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies Proven leadership and team management abilities Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulatory compliance standards Excellent problem-solving and financial decision-making under pressure
