VP, Accounting and Treasury

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, extensive experience in full set accounting, and a background in the financial services industry. What you'll do: As the Vice President of Accounting and Treasury, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the financial health of the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, improving accounting processes, overseeing external audits, preparing regulatory reports, processing payroll, documenting procedures, managing vendor payments, and collaborating with other departments. Your expertise in corporate finance will be crucial in managing budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, analysis, optimizing capital structure, and maintaining liquidity. Your contributions will directly impact key business decisions. Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely completion of account closures using accounting software. Continuously improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Oversee external audit requirements to ensure timely completion of annual financial audits. Prepare and submit regulatory reports on a quarterly and annual basis. Process payroll monthly with accuracy and punctuality. Document and update accounting and treasury procedures regularly. Ensure timely vendor payments and manage outstanding customer payments. Manage corporate finance activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis. Monitor and optimize the company's capital structure and maintain liquidity to support business operations. Collaborate with other departments as needed to support organizational goals. What you bring: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English). At least 5 years of experience in handling full set accounting. Experience in MAS forms submission. Working experience in the financial services industry. Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proven track record of improving efficiency and accuracy in an accounting role. Experience with payroll processing. Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis. Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
