Java CI/CD

The Java Developer candidate must have: Skill Sets: -Must have at least 4-5 years of experience - Java development - Linux (RHEL 8) knowledge - GitlabCI development - Puppet - Shell scripting Desired Roles and Responsibilities Language Knowledge * Java versions 8, 11, 17, 21 used for our internal plugins (widely used and depended upon, but generally static unless requests for change come along from vulnerabilities, compliance, or discovered bugs) * JavaScript used for our primary CI/CD pipeline * GitlabCI for maintaining and developing future CI/CD pipelines * Shell (bash) scripting knowledge largely implemented by UCD Plugin steps and Rundeck jobs * Puppet and Bolt for our Puppet-defined application infrastructure as well as converting our soon to be retired Rundeck jobs * Monitoring and alerting tools: Datadog, Prometheus and Grafana would be most useful Systems Knowledge * Linux system administration (RHEL 8) * Basic database queries (Oracle 19c) * Basic container knowledge (OpenShift) for things like alert handlers / managers * Application infrastructure knowledge: How databases, application servers, application services, and load balancers work together Roadmap Items (build - run/retirement items not listed) * Revamp of / improvements to current CI/CD pipelines to consolidate multiple teams work into a paved path * Automated provisioning of UCD applications (creating applications, environments, components, etc and mapping their dependences from Ralph or CI pipelines) We offer: Direct and indefinite hiring, 100% payroll schema, all law benefits Benefits above law (Major and minor medical insurance, Life Insurance, saving funds, grocery coupons, 30 days Christmas bonus, 12 days vacations, dental and optical plan)
