Power BI Tester

ob Description : Power BI Tester (Agile Environment) Key Responsibilities • Perform end-to-end testing of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to ensure accuracy and reliability. • Validate data integrity by comparing data sources, ensuring consistency across visualizations and reports. • Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans for Power BI solutions. • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing strategies. • Conduct performance testing to ensure dashboards and reports load efficiently and handle large datasets effectively. Required Skills and Qualifications • Power BI Expertise: Strong knowledge of Power BI, including dashboards, reports, data models, and DAX expressions. • Testing Skills: Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for business intelligence solutions. • Data Validation: Ability to validate data accuracy and integrity across multiple sources and visualizations. • SQL Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SQL for querying and validating data. • Agile Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile principles and experience working in Agile environments. Preferred Skills • Experience with ETL testing for data pipelines feeding Power BI reports. • Familiarity with automation testing tools for BI solutions. • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and relational databases.
