Local Financial Accountant_Segrate

Adecco Italia Segrate, Italy Position: Local Financial Accountant - Segrate Adecco Italia Spa, Divisione Financial Services, for a prestigious client company leader in the nutrition sector, is seeking: Responsibilities: Analysis, reporting, and controlling activities; Financial closing, reporting, ensuring punctuality and accuracy; Ensuring compliance with international and local accounting standards and regulations; Monitoring the Balance Sheet and conducting financial variance analyses; Supervising the financial closing process; Managing accounts payable and receivable; Preparing the annual financial statements in compliance with legal and fiscal requirements (VAT, withholding taxes, fiscal books); Controlling daily and monthly invoicing processes; Managing supplier payments; Extracting data and preparing clear presentations using IT tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI); Accounting entries, especially control and analysis; Creating annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; Executing transactions in SAP and Zucchetti systems. Requirements: Degree in Economics or equivalent qualification; At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within structured companies, preferably multinational manufacturing firms managing international financial/budget issues or auditing consultancy firms; Excellent knowledge of English (mandatory); In-depth understanding of accounting and local fiscal/legal obligations; Knowledge of Italian fiscal regulations (consolidations, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.); Good knowledge of SAP system; Zucchetti ERP knowledge is a plus; Proactivity, open-mindedness, business orientation, and problem-solving skills.
